Why it’s been a bit quiet around here

As many of you will know, I’ve been working on a book. It’s called ‘Africa United: How Football Explains Africa’ and it will be published in May by Canongate in the UK and Harper Perennial in the US and Canada.

There is also a website, www.africa-united.co.uk, which, like the book, will try to put African football in a bit of context in the run-up to continent’s first World Cup.

I will continue to blog here as well but probably even more erratically than normal.
